Who we are
WIOA Program Guide is an independent website published by WellTracked. We explain the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in plain language so people can find job training help faster.
Independent guide. Not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Labor or any state workforce agency. We are not a government website, we do not run any American Job Center and we have no role in deciding who qualifies.
What we do not do
- We do not take applications. Every application for WIOA happens at your local American Job Center.
- We do not decide eligibility or promise funding. Only your local job center can do that, and funds are limited.
- We do not charge for anything, and we never ask for your Social Security number or personal documents.
- Our eligibility checker runs in your browser and does not send or store your answers.
How we research
Facts on this site come from primary sources: the WIOA law and its regulations (20 CFR parts 680 and 681), U.S. Department of Labor pages, CareerOneStop, and each state's own workforce sites. Every guide lists its sources at the bottom. Where states or local boards set their own rules, such as training caps, we say so instead of guessing a number. We check every link we publish.
If something looks wrong or out of date, trust your local job center over us, and check the source we cite. A good place to start is what WIOA is or the Do I qualify? checker.
How this site is funded
This site is free to use. It may show advertising in the future, and it may later partner with training schools to help people request information. If that happens, it will be clearly labeled, and it will never change what we say about eligibility or the rules.
